IATF 16949:2016 – ISO 9001:2015

The concept of quality is broad and applies to multiple areas, from process analysis to machinery to the materials used. At Trafime, we have defined our mission as achieving the primary objective of defining quality as the set of characteristics that make an object or final product suitable for its intended use or function.

Through decades of experience, we have developed procedures that ensure that material purchasing is always aligned with actual needs, thus guaranteeing the production of a high-quality finished product. In the early stages of production, we optimize material handling logistics to minimize time and simplify lifting, handling, loading, and unloading of processed materials, while maintaining high standards of operator safety.

Furthermore, we constantly monitor the management of fine blanking lines to reduce operating times and optimize the efficiency of each operator involved in line operation.

We have introduced additional processing lines to enhance the value of our finished products, actively collaborating with our suppliers to find innovative solutions to adapt the machinery to our high standards of efficiency and precision in processing, thus meeting our customers’ most stringent needs.

Trafime coordinates all company departments following a general principle of quality, aiming to deliver finished products to our customers that fully comply with the strictest technical supply criteria.

Of course, the final decision always rests with our technicians, who can rely on quality laboratories located at each plant, equipped with machinery for product inspection both during processing and in the finished product. Trafime has also always paid particular attention to the training of highly qualified technical personnel, transferring their accumulated experience to each department.

CERTIFICATION ISO 14001:2015

An organization certified to ISO 14001 has established a management system aimed at monitoring and controlling the environmental impacts of its activities, in compliance with applicable laws, with the constant goal of continuous improvement, ensuring consistency, effectiveness, and sustainability.

To obtain ISO 14001 certification, a company must develop a corporate management system that meets the requirements specified in the relevant standard.

The standard’s requirements extend to all business processes and are designed to be general, applicable to any type of organization. They follow the continuous improvement model defined by the Deming Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle.

It should be emphasized that ISO 14001 certification does not concern the product itself (unlike ecolabels), but rather certifies the compliance of company processes with the environmental standards defined by the standard.

CERTIFICATION ESG

With the aim of pursuing continuous improvement, TRA.FI.ME. S.p.A. obtained its ESG rating on December 2, 2022.

This ESG rating includes an assessment of the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impact of corporate practices and policies, providing a detailed picture of the company’s sustainable performance.

The ESG rating is a summary indicator that certifies a company’s solidity.

The acronym ESG indicates the three key factors of the sustainability report.

Environmental: everything related to environmental and biodiversity protection, the reduction of CO₂ emissions, and the management of waste and toxic substances.
Social: criteria relating to the conditions and well-being of workers, such as health and safety, the right to medical care, support for education and training, and the management of fair working hours and wages.
Governance: i.e., regulatory compliance; This area includes corporate ethical decisions regarding the fight against corruption, fair competition, corporate structure, ensuring equal opportunities, and much more.

This tool allows you to understand a company’s sustainability prospects and its ability to generate long-term value. Its three thematic areas (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) encompass the 17 Sustainable Development Goals that the United Nations aims to achieve by 2030.
